Shuttle Transportation
Organizers have made special arrangements for Quiltfest students to participate in a FREE shuttle service sponsored by FUN TIME TROLLEY which will continuously operate between all official Quiltfest sites and classrooms beginning at 8 am each day.
Quiltfest attendees may also utilize other FUN TIME TROLLEY routes to visit the many attractions in Pigeon Forge. Please consult your hotel from desk for additional information and charges.
On-Site Registration / Headquarters Hours
On Tuesday, March 11 registration will be open from 1 – 5 pm at the Music Road Hotel & Convention Center. Anyone who is pre-registered may pick up their “Hospitality Packet” which will contain your nametag and other “goodies”. Beginning Wednesday, March 12 and continuing through the remainder of the show, Quiltfest registration will be located at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center with the same schedule as the Quilt and Vendor Show. Please refer to Page 1 for specific days and times.
Class / Lecture Registration
There is limited space in all classes and lectures; therefore, seats for these classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Those wishing to register for classes or lectures with availability may do so at any time at the Registration / Headquarters Table.
Name Tags / Admission Tickets
Please wear your name tag at all times. All participants are required to have a valid pass for entry into the specific classes or lectures in which they are registered. Whether you register online or via “snail mail”, you will receive your admission credentials when you arrive at the Quiltfest Registration Table. You will receive a registration confirmation in the mail.
Official Quiltfest Locations
All classes and non-meal lectures for the 2008 “A Mountain Quiltfest” will be held at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center. Meal lectures will be hosted by The Pottery House Café and Grille located in the Old Mill Square.
The Professional and Challenge Quilts will be displayed at Smoky Mountain Convention Center. All other quilt categories will be on display at Music Road Convention Center.
