A Mountain Heritage Quiltfest Challenge

2009 Theme:  FINDING FIFTEEN
 In honor of the fifteenth anniversary of A Mountain Quiltfest, each quilt must have 15 items, the numeral 15, or written word fifteen in it as part of the challenge.  15 items can be 15 blocks, 15 trees, 15 stars, or any thing of your choice.

Create a quilt at least 25” x 25” and no larger than 40” x 40”

Quilt may be from a traditional or original design.

You must use a minimum of three of the four fabrics included in the Challenge Packet.  You can use additional fabrics.  The additional fabrics cannot make up more the 70% of the quilt top.

Quilts will be judged by a panel of professional judges during the 2009 Quiltfest.  The decision of the judges is final. 

Packets may be purchased for $10.00 plus tax from The Cherry Pit booth during 2008 Quiltfest or by mail for $13.00 (includes shipping & handling) through:
