A Mountain Quiltfest Challenge Theme
“Star Power”!
Quilt dimensions
The quilt must be at least 25”x 25” and no larger than 40” x 40”. There must be a 4-inch sleeve on the back of the quilt for hanging.
Quilt Design
A traditional or original design may be used when creating the quilt.
Quilt Fabric
The quilt must use all three (3) fabrics included in the Challenge Packet. The quilter may use additional fabrics; however, these fabrics cannot make up more than 70% of the quilt top.
Judging of quilts
These quilts will be judged by a panel of professional adjudicators during the 2009 A Mountain Quiltfest. The decision of that panel will be final.
Challenge Packets
These packets, available on a first come, first served basis, may be purchased for $10.00 + tax from the Cherry Pit booth during 2009 Quiltfest. They also may be purchased by mail for $13.00 (includes shipping and handling) by contacting:
