The Antique Quilt Bed Turning is back again this year by popular demand. This event, held each day in the lobby of the Music Road Hotel Convention Center, will highlight quilts made before 1958.
Members of the Piecemakers and Sevier Valley Quilters Guilds will narrate the bed turning and provide information about the quilts including their age, owner, and pattern name and construction techniques. Interesting historical and special information such as why the quilt was made, for whom it was made and for what special occasion it was made will also be provided.
