Pigeon Forge’s A Mountain Quiltfest quilt show is a beautiful display of a variety of quilts from all over the country.  Come and admire all of the hard work and creativity put in to these incredible quilts.  Quilters compete in more than10 categories for over $20,000 in prizes.

The show is open to everyone whether you are a beginning quilter or a seasoned quilt master.


How to Enter Your Quilt

All quilt entries will need to follow the quilt show guidelines, as written by A Mountain Quiltfest.  To get more info about the guidelines for entry click here on Guidelines for Quilt Show Entries or click on Guidelines for Entry from the top menu.

2010 Theme and Guidelines

A Mountain Quiltfest Challenge Theme
“Star Power.”

Quilt dimensions 
The quilt must be at least 25”x 25” and no larger than 40” x 40”.  There must be a 4-inch sleeve on the back of the quilt for hanging.

Quilt Design
A traditional or original design may be used when creating the quilt.

Quilt Fabric
The quilt must use all three (3) fabrics included in the Challenge Packet.  The quilter may use additional fabrics; however, these fabrics cannot make up more than 70% of the quilt top.

Judging of quilts
These quilts will be judged by a panel of professional adjudicators during the 2010 A
Mountain Quiltfest.  The decision of that panel will be final.

These packets, available on a first come, first served basis, may be purchased at the Cherry Pit for $10.00 or by mail for $13.00 (includes shipping and handling):
